Mesmerizing the audience with the original electro-vintage sound of the Hammond organ is what Organism does. Songs of their first LP the Praise The Notes recall the American jazz era of the 1950s 60s and the jazz-rock era of the ‘60s ‘70s meanwhile also having the backing of contemporary pop-fans.
Inspired by american Hammond culture Organism makes exquisite atmosphere produced by the band of an organ, a guitar and drums complemented by a flute and a charming voice.
Their music was influenced by lots of organists and bands like Jimmy Smith, Larry Young, Eddy Louiss, Larry Goldings, dr Lonnie Smith and by experimental lyrics and sounds of the jazz-rock era in the 60’s 70’s. (Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix Experience, Traffic, Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express). The world of Organism is made complete by the honesty of their lyrics. Members in the band are.: Bodoki Tünde, Möntör Máté, Szabó Sipos Ágoston, Vas Bence.
In their first half instrumental LP they go back to the deepest traditions of the organ trios. The blues is the most inspiring genre with some taste of gospel and principles of funky in their music. They aim to recomposition sounds of contemporary jazz.
Their first EP was released in the care of Music Fashion in 2014 carrying the name Pictures of the day. The project was sponsored by the National Cultural Fund and the Cseh Tamás Program.
